MV Planning: Audience Feedback On Initial Ideas

I created a tally chart which I went around with to collect audience feedback on which one of my initial idea's worked the best for the song that I had selected. I sat down and explained the concept to each one of my initial ideas so that the audience could fully understand what the ideas were.

Once I had gathered a large enough sample it was clear that idea one had an outstanding number of votes and was the most popular concept to my target audience. Because of this i will plan my music video around this concept but to make sure it suited my target audience view i asked them in what ways was that idea good or bad in their opinion and got 4 responses.

Responses:
- "If the song is about destruction would it be better if one of the partners dies or disappears at the end"
- "The forest location is good but overplayed, if it's going to be interesting you need to find a way to make sure your audience doesn't get bored"
- "I love the idea and the song is a great choice. There is the potential to have a variety of different camera shots"
- "I'm not certain on the idea but it does have the capability to do well"

With these in mind, I will adapt my idea in order to fit my audience response.
